What can I treat with CBD?
CBD is becoming increasingly popular as a treatment option for anxiety, depression, pain, inflammation, insomnia, migraines, seizures, inflammatory bowel disease and neuropathy. Anecdotal evidence suggests CBD users experience fewer troubling side effects from CBD than pharmaceuticals such as anti-depressants.

How is CBD manufactured?
CBD comes from the hemp plant. It can be steam-distilled or extracted using solvents, carbon dioxide, or lipids. The manufacturing method creates different forms of CBD.
CBD isolate is pure CBD.
Broad-spectrum CBD includes a rich mix of additional compounds from the hemp plant. Of special interest are cannabinoids, such as cannabichromene (CBC) and cannabinol (CBN), and terpenes such as myrcene, limonene, or pinene. Cannabinoids and terpenes may heighten the effects of CBD—which is referred to as the entourage effect.

Does CBD oil have THC?
Our CBD products do not have THC. All of our Spirit Peaks Organics products use either CBD isolate (which is pure CBD) or broad-spectrum CBD, which undergoes a process known as chromatography to remove all traces of THC. Broad-spectrum CBD is a good choice if you are sensitive to THC or are worried about triggering a positive result on a THC drug test.
Other CBD sellers may sell full-spectrum CBD, which includes a trace amount of THC. Learn more about how to take this product here.
